About Us
We exist to campaign for better takeaway transparency. Our petition outlines our current goals which are;
Make all companies display embedded and correct food hygiene ratings for all establishments they host on their respective platforms. The current system of linking to the Food Standards Agency is unacceptable.
Be more transparent about allergens. A generic message is not okay. Restaurants should have to list all possible allergens and these should be available within the app.
Be more transparent about specific dietary requirements. All restaurants should be obligated to include information for vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as if meat is, for example, Kosher or Halal. Customers should be able to make an informed decision.
We are not related to, in partnership with or endorsed by any of the platforms we are campaigning against. We also have no relationship with the Food Standards Agency but provide links to tools that the food delivery platforms link to but don’t build in to their platforms. We hope that platforms will voluntarily meet our requirements without the need for legislation.
